Goals
The goals of the Jamaica Environment Trust are:
- To develop and implement a comprehensive island wide, action-oriented environmental education programme within the formal education system
- To develop and implement effective public education and advocacy campaigns on a variety of issues aimed at a range of audiences
- To engage children and young people to become activists and advocates for environmental issues
- To become a leading environmental NGO in Jamaica by strengthening organizational capacity and addressing sustainability issues
