This year an environmental research component was introduced in the advanced schools. An advanced school is one which has performed consistently well in the programme over the years and now serve as a model school for the other schools in the parish they represent. The winners in the advanced schools' competition were:

  • Ferncourt High, 1st place Senior

Unfortunately SEP has been downsized from 200 to 100 schools due to financial constraints, however JET continues to conduct teacher training workshops annually for 353 schools across the island.
