When JET moved to Earth House in February 2002, a recycling depot for PET bottles was established in partnership with Recycle for Life. This was intended to provide a location for JET members and other concerned citizens to bring PET bottles. Since then, the collection depot has been expanded. JET currently works with Pepsi Jamaica Ltd. and Protect the Environment Trust to recycle some items of waste. Items you can bring to the JET Recycling Depot are PET and HDPE plastic bottles and white office paper. We do not pay for recyclables, and we do not charge for the service. We also have a truck, donated by Pepsi, which can collect plastic bottles from schools in Kingston, St. Catherine and Clarendon. If you would like to find out about a pick up for your school, please call our office at 960-3693. JET’s Recycling Depot at |
